Four Appalachian State University Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) majors, along with Brantley Center Associate Director Greg Langdon, attended the 2015 Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of SC (IIABSC) Convention at Hilton Head, SC, October 18-20.
During the convention, approximately 400 member agents, Young Agents and company representatives joined together to network and learn.
The annual event includes informative continuing education sessions from expert speakers, industry updates and social events, in addition to a large exhibit hall filled with the state's leading insurance vendors. The convention is an opportunity for insurance professionals of all ages, ranks and experience levels.
Throughout the three days, the RMI students participated in educational sessions and networked with industry professionals from across South Carolina.
