Appalachian to participate in research in business symposium

The 2016 Appalachian Research in Business Symposium (ARBS) is set for March 31 and April 1, 2016.

ARBS features research from scholars at Appalachian State University, Eastern Kentucky University, Eastern Tennessee State University, and Western Carolina University.

The 2016 event will be held on the Eastern Kentucky University campus.

Participants will find opportunities for presenting new research, discovering contemporary ideas, and building new connections.

Abstract submissions (750-2000 words) are encouraged from faculty or students who use different theoretical and empirical approaches to deliver the latest research results in different business fields (e.g., Accounting, Business Education, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism, Management, Marketing, etc.)

Structured abstracts will be peer reviewed for acceptance at ARBS and will appear in the FIRST ARBS conference proceedings.

Research proposals of 250 words or less will be peer reviewed for acceptance at ARBS but will not be considered for publication in the proceedings.

Proposals or structured abstracts should be sent in a MS Word file to weiling.zhuang@eku.edu by January 22.

For more information, or to obtain approved templates for abstract submissions, contact Walker College Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Research Sandy Vannoy, vannoysa@appstate.edu, (828) 262-2922.
