On Thursday, February 2, 2017, business alumni will share their experiences and advice on speaking with colleagues about race and implicit bias in the workplace.
The panel will be held in the Holland International Engagement Room in Peacock Hall on the campus of Appalachian State University. The event is one of many activities on Appalachian's campus held in conjunction with Black History Month.
A reception for registrants will follow the panel discussion. Hosted by Appalachian's Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and the Walker College of Business, the event is open to the public with no charge to attend. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to register.
Register online through January 26. Registration extended through Tuesday, January 31!
The event is an initiative of the Walker College's Diversity Advisory Team.
