 Join us to celebrate the international experiences, leadership and achievements of the Walker College of Business at our third annual Walker College of Business International Awards Banquet.

  • Guest Speaker - Dr. Jeff Ramsdell, Professor of Sustainable Technology & the Built Environment
  • Awards Ceremony - Dr. Martin Meznar, Associate Dean, Global and Civic Engagement & Meredith Church Pipes, Global & Civic Engagement Specialist

Students, take a moment to let us know about your accomplishments and the faculty/staff who have helped you pursue international experiences. Faculty, use this forum to recognize students who have made outstanding contributions on you faculty-led programs or whose global mindset has impressed you. Nominations are due by November 1st.

Faculty Awards

Outstanding Faculty-led Program Leader Award

  • Description: This award recognizes faculty-led program leaders with outstanding knowledge, leadership,and global mindset.
  • Eligibility: 2016-17 College of Business Faculty-led Program Leaders 

Inspiring International Leaders Award

  • Description: This award recognizes success in inspiring students to pursue meaningful international experiences and develop a global mindset
  • Eligibility: College of Business Faculty and Staff. (Dr. Martin Meznar and Meredith Church Pipes aren't eligible)

Student Awards

Outstanding International Business Major Award 

  • Description: This award recognizes exemplary academic success and international engagement.
  • Eligibility: Senior International Business Majors

Outstanding International Business Minor Award 

  • Description: This award recognizes exemplary academic success and international engagement.
  • Eligibility: Senior International Business Minors

Global Citizen Award 

  • Description: Given in recognition of establishing meaningful connections with the international community beyond the classroom while abroad and/or here on campus.
  • Eligibility: 2016-17 COB participants in a full semester or year abroad  or an international internship. Other business students will be considered.

Faculty-led Program Most Valuable Participant

  • Description: Award given in recognition of outstanding leadership, maturity, global perspective, intercultural communication and/or engagement during international travel.
  • Eligibility: 2016-17 Faculty-led program participants.
