New for Spring 2020, Appalachian State University will offer a certificate in business analytics for working professionals.
The non-credit program is offered by Appalachian's Center for Analytics Research & Education (CARE) in partnership with SAS – a leading entity in data analytics.
"Our professional certificate in business analytics is an incredible opportunity for those in a wide variety of industries," said CARE Executive Director Joseph Cazier. "Truly anyone who uses data to drive results and make efficient decisions can benefit from this program to advance their career."
According to Cazier, the program will help participants stay ahead in a rapidly growing discipline and do so without traveling to campus.
The courses are completely online with short, nine-week sessions. If taken in an unbroken sequence, participants will complete the five courses and earn a certificate in approximately twelve months.
Cazier added that Appalachian is one of the only organizations offering instruction in the newest SAS platform – SAS Viya.
