Student Travel Support
The Walker College of Business (WCOB) Student Travel Support Program assists business students with the cost of student club and organization travel 1) to represent Appalachian and the WCOB in competitions, and/or 2) that involves a significant educational component.
Awards of up to 25% of the total cost of the trip, or $1,200 per student club/organization, whichever is smaller, will be granted during a given academic year, depending on need, availability and merit. More funds are available for groups participating in competitions.

***IMPORTANT*** DO NOT make any payments or commit any funds related to this travel before the request has been approved by the Associate Dean and a representative of the club/organization has met with Kathy Mann in the Associate Dean's Office. Please note that the purpose of these forms is to request financial support from the WCOB. All required ASU travel forms still need to be completed.
Appalachian's Office of Student Research also offers grants to be used to defray the cost of travel to present results of research or creative performance at a professional conference in one's field.
