The annual Appalachian State Scholarship Golf Classic is an important resource for the Walker College of Business, raising thousands of dollars for student scholarships, faculty research and professorships. Sponsored by 4 Brothers Food Stores and Beroth Oil Company Inc., the 2012 event was September 12 at its traditional location, Tanglewood Park in Clemmons.

The tournament format is a Foursome Captain's Choice, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., Teams will play nine holes on each course. Special features include closest to the pin, longest drive, hole-in-one, mulligans (2 per player), and raffle.

All money raised benefits the Walker College of Business by providing financial support for student scholarships, faculty research and professorships.
