Speaker Bio: Mr. Satyarthi is a globally renowned advocate for children’s rights, a master strategist against child labor and suppression of young people, and a tireless campaigner to end the global education crisis. Mr. Satyarthi has been at the forefront of driving child-related agendas into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Mr. Satyarthi and his Save the Childhood Movement have liberated more than 87,000 children from exploitation. To fulfill his vision of a world where all children are free, safe, healthy, educated and have the opportunity to realize their potential, Mr. Satyarthi established the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation. Currently, he is spearheading the 100 Million Campaign, which aims to inspire and mobilize young people to act for their own rights and the rights of their peers. For his extraordinary commitment to and struggle for such causes, Mr. Satyarthi was jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
