Program Description: During this program students will be traveling to Punta Gorda Belize. Students will spend one week fully immersed in the community and traditional culture of Belize. There will be a service learning aspect to this trip which will include working with local small business in Punta Gorda as well as working with local cacao farmers and chocolate manufacturers to experience hands on the supply chain involved in the country's largest export. After this trip, students will have a better understanding of the local culture in Belize and gained valuable insight into the global supply chainof the chocolate industry.
Program Cost: $2,950 - no additional tuition if you are full time in the spring semester.
