France VIRTUAL PROGRAM - Angers Summer Business Program

Program Dates
Tuesday, May 25, 2021 to Thursday, June 17, 2021
Description

Want the opportunity to connect with international students and broaden your horizons, while staying socially distanced? This year, the Angers Summer Business Program is going virtual... Offered in collaboration with the Université d'Angers, students take online summer classes with Angers business students and learn international business skills, International Finance and International Brand Management, while experiencing cross-cultural collaboration.

Students are prepared for this experience during the second half of spring semester 2021, through the  course BUS 3045 Intro to French Culture for Business Students. Students will be paired with a French partner at the University of Angers for discussions of culture, language and perspectives. Additionally, virtual tours, opportunities to experience French culture through current events, cinema, language and music, snail mail interactions with French partners, a cultural Angers/Appstate show & tell and much more will bring French culture to life. Students from both universities will work as a team to create a video introduction to life and living at Appalachian/in Angers for their counterparts.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All faculty-led program travel has been cancelled for summer 2021. The Angers Summer Business Program will take place in a virtual format and the dates and content of the program may be modified. There is no program cost for participation. Contact Meredith Church Pipes if you are interested in participating.
