Portugal - Martha Guy Business for Good Fellows - BUS 3055

Program Dates
Sunday, May 11, 2025 to Saturday, May 24, 2025
Description

The program in Lisbon, Portugal, for the Martha Guy Business for Good Fellows aims to align with the Walker College of Business's mission of preparing and inspiring students to be ethical, innovative, and engaged business leaders. This trip offers a unique, hands-on learning experience through volunteering projects in forest conservation and upcycling, directly contributing to global sustainability and ethical business practices. Moreover, the participation in a migrant-led tour of Lisbon provides a broader cultural perspective, fostering a deeper understanding of international communities and their challenges. This experience is designed to empower our first-generation college students with practical skills and insights, enhancing their ability to positively impact local and global communities, in line with the college's commitment to producing business leaders who are conscientious about their societal and environmental responsibilities.

This program is open only to participants in the Martha Guy Business for Good Fellowship . Please contact the program leaders to learn more.
