Kyle Allen joined Appalachian State University's staff in May 2021 and serves as the executive director of development at the Walker College of Business. In this role, Allen manages a team of fundraisers in University Advancement and is responsible for oversight of all fundraising efforts in the Walker College.
Previously, Allen served as a fundraiser at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he raised more than $20 million for the Haslam College of Business, contributed to the successful completion of the university’s $260 million Join the Journey Campaign, and was instrumental in securing gifts to establish the university’s first department of real estate. Allen holds a bachelor’s in finance from Georgia College and State University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
