Description

Doing Business in Japan is a 9-day and 3 credit hout course. This course focuses on developing students' expertise in business and culture in Japan. Students will immerse themselves in local business and cultural environments through cultural activities (e.g. tea ceremonty, archery, sumo wrestling, museum visits and farewell party), class discussion with local instructors and students, and company visits. After course completion, students will have skills and knowledge to succeed in their future business in Japan.

Course: BUS 3530 Doing Business in Japan (3 semester hours)

Pre-reqs: 60 earned hours. Students who do not have the minimum hour requirement cannot take this course at the 3000-level and should inform the program leader of this situation before applying.

Credit: This course fulfills an IB elective (major, approved, required or other), HOS elective, COB elective or upper-level elective and fulfills the Global Issues requirement.

Cost: $3,850, includes airfare, lodging, group activities and most meals. Doesn't include summer tuition.
