My favorite Walker College memory is…
WCOB is my Sept 11, 2001 memory. I walked through the double doors of the building on that fateful morning and immediately saw my dear friend, Doug Blumenthal, with a concerned look on his face. He shared the horrific news with me and we sat in that moment of disbelief, uncertainty, and anguish together. Some professors opened their doors to allow students in to watch the news as it unfolded and others simply told their students to go home. What I remember most is the feeling of connectivity and support within the halls of WCOB. We were in this together. Our futures were not dimmed. We were still prepared to make an impact on the world even though it might look a little different than what we had imagined pre- 9/11.

My experience in the Walker College prepared me for my life and work...
My experience in WCOB prepared me for the real world beyond any expectations I could have ever imagined. I was fortunate enough to take Entrepreneurship and Real Estate courses as part of my course load and while these weren’t my first plan for my first career out of college, they prepared me for a successful career in Real Estate. When the real estate bubble burst I leaned on my business management courses to help me secure my second career in Finance which is where I remain after 12 years.
