Program Description

In this program, offered in collaboration with the Université d'Angers, students will take classes with Angers business students and learn international business skills, International Finance and International Brand Management in particular, while experiencing French culture and language. Excursions include visits to landsmarks in Angers, the Loire valley and Paris. The program starts and ends in the trains station in Angers, France.  Visit our website for more details.

Courses

U: BUS 3045 Introduction to French Culture for Business Students - 3 credits (Pre-reqs: 54 earned hours)
U: FIN 4750 International Business Finance - 3 credits (Pre-reqs: 84 earned hours, FIN 3680 &  ENG 3100/BE 3340)
U: MKT 3540 New Product Development & International Brand Management - 3 credits (Pre-reqs: 54 earned hours & MKT 3050)

Credits

Credits: All three courses count as IB electives (major, approved, required or other), HOS electives, COB electives or upper level electives and fulfill the Global Issues requirement. MKT 3545 fulfills a marketing elective. FIN 4750 is a Finance Set 1 elective.


Pre-Reqs

See above for pre-reqs for each course. Students without pre-reqs or who do not have the minimum hour requirement cannot take this course at the noted level and should inform the program leader of this situation before applying.

Costs

Billable Program Cost: $2,555 Includes: In-country Program Transportation, Lodging, International Health and Evacuation Insurance, Program Events, Some Meals, and CCS Administrative Fee.

Estimated Additional Student Cost: $2940.00 Estimated costs include but are not limited to: Airfare, Train fare to and from Angers,  Personal Expenses, and additional meals.
