France - Angers Summer Business Program - BUS 3045 & MKT 3240

Description

On this program, offered in collaboration with the Université d'Angers, students will take classes with Angers business students and learn international business skills and study international brand management, while experiencing French culture and language. Excursions include visits to landmarks in Angers, the Loire valley and Paris. The program starts at the train station in Angers, France and ends at the hostel at check-out in Paris, France.

Courses

U: BUS 3045 Introduction to French Culture for Business Students - 3 credits (Pre-reqs: 54 earned hours)
U: MKT 3540 New Product Development & International Brand Management - 3 credits (Pre-reqs: 54 earned hours & MKT 3050)

Credits (6 credit hours)

  • Both courses count as IB electives (major, approved, required or other),  COB electives or upper level electives and fulfill the Global Issues requirement. 
  • MKT 3540 fulfills a marketing elective (Sales, General or Digital) and can fulfill the Advanced Entrepreneurship experiential elective, Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor or major experiential elective, or the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Studies Minor Elective.

Program Cost:$3420.Does not include airfare or most meals.
