Description

This course integrates classroom learning with experiential industry engagement during a faculty-led education abroad program in Belgium and the Netherlands. The course examines the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and sustainability within Europe’s leading innovation hubs. Students will engage with academic and industry experts to explore how businesses leverage AI for marketing, logistics, and customer experience. Through company visits, lectures, and reflection, participants will develop a global perspective on digital ecosystems and ethical marketing innovation. From the valuable insights gathered from the industry engagements, students will also deliberate on the social and individual challenges emanating from the individual’s/consumer’s perspective when AI is used and think about the managerial implications of the same.

  • MBA 5020 - International Experience in Belgium & the Netherlands
    • Prerequisite: Admission to the MBA Program or permission of the program director.
    • For MBA students, this study abroad program would count as the international focus elective for all concentrations. For MSADA and MSA students, please check with the respective Program Director to confirm how it would count in the MSADA and MSA curriculum."
  • MKT 4530 - AI & Digital Transformation in Marketing : EU Corridor
    • Prerequisite: 84 earned hours or permission of the instructor and department chair.
    • This course can count as an IB elective (major, approved, required or other), a concentration elective for general marketing majors and minors, a concentration set 3 elective for sales marketing majors and professional selling minors, a COB elective or upper level elective and fulfills the Global Issues requirement.
