Description

The Martha Guy Business for Good Fellows program aims to align with the Walker College of Business's mission of preparing and inspiring students to be ethical, innovative, and engaged business leaders. This experience is designed to empower our first-generation college students with practical skills and insights, enhancing their ability to positively impact local and global communities, in line with the college's commitment to producing business leaders who are conscientious about their societal and environmental responsibilities. Credits

ENT 3600 - Entrepreneurship Study Abroad - This course counts as an IB elective (major, approved, required, or other), Entrepreneurship minor or major concentration elective, COB elective or upper level elective and fulfills the Global Issues requirement.

Leaders 

Dr. Jacqueline Tilton - Jacqueline Tilton is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department at Appalachian State University where she teaches Business Ethics. She earned her PhD from the University of Arkansas as the Frank & Donna Oldham Doctoral Fellow and was recognized as the 2019 Outstanding Graduate Student Teacher. Her research aims to understand and give voice to the disparate experiences of diverse employees and additionally discover the mechanisms that serve to mitigate or exacerbate organizational and societal inequality. In particular, much of her research focuses on economic diversity.
