Description

Turkey plays a hugely important role in global business and politics. Bordering Iran, Iraq and Syria on the east and Bulgaria and Greece on the west it is a central actor in many strategic global issues. During their time in Turkey students will visit Istanbul (former Constantinople) and Ankara (Turkey's capital). Activities will include visits to local firms, Koc and Bilkent universities, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Caracalla Baths, the Grand Bazaar as well as other historic and cultural sites. If available, students will attend briefings with U.S. Embassy personnel.
