Experience Ireland through a supply chain management lens while visiting Dublin, Galway, and Cork. Engage with leading companies, explore cutting-edge logistics and sustainability practices, and immerse yourself in vibrant Irish culture while building global business skills through Ireland's dynamic business, cultural, and logistical landscape. This program blends academic rigor with on-the-ground industry engagement, giving students a firsthand understanding of how modern supply chains operate within an interconnected European economy.
Students begin in Dublin, Ireland's commercial hub, where they examine multinational operations, port logistics, and technology-driven supply chain innovation. Dublin's global connectivity provides a living case study in how organizations coordinate transportation networks, manage inventory, and navigate regulatory environments across the EU.
The program then moves to Galway, a center for medical device manufacturing and advanced production. Field experiences highlight the role of regional clusters, workforce capabilities, and innovation ecosystems in shaping competitive supply chains. Galway's cultural richness deepens students' appreciation for how local context influences business practices and decision-making.
The final segment in Cork focuses on food, beverage, and pharmaceutical supply chains -two of Ireland's most influential export sectors. Cork's port and industrial infrastructure provide a real-world backdrop for understanding multimodal logistics and international trade flows.
Throughout the program, students complete reflective assignments that connect Irish business practices to core supply chain concepts. By the end of the experience, participants gain a deeper global mindset, enhanced analytical skills, and a practical understanding of how supply chains function across diverse industries and regions.
