The Appalachian State Scholarship Golf Classic -- or the Beroth Golf Tournament -- has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for student scholarships, faculty research and professorships during its 26-year history. The tournament has been generously sponsored by Four Brothers Food Stores and Beroth Oil Company Inc. Beroth Oil/4 Brothers Stores President (ret.) W. Winfield Beroth '65 is a Walker College alumnus and Business Advisory Council member emeritus.
