Recognizing the importance of analytics, the Walker College of Business has prepared students to become successful professionals, data scientists and marketing analytics researchers in business by implementing analytics disciplines throughout its programs.
The inaugural Analytics Summit, held Friday, April 28, 2023 brought together speakers across a wide range of industries who depend on analytics for success.
Approximately 150 attendees from business, industry and academics attended. Funds raised will be used to provide scholarships to App State analytics students with financial need.

The Venue
The Analytics Summit will be held in the Blue Ridge Ballroom (Room 201AB) in the Plemmons Student Union, located in the center of Appalachian State University, Boone, NC.
Our Focus
The Analytics Summit is managed by the Walker College's Office of Professional Education, which is dedicated to promotion of certifications and knowledge to non-traditional students across Western North Carolina.
Our goal for the summit is to help build the leading analytics educational program in the Southeast across all disciplines. As such, all proceeds from the Analytics Summit event go toward funding scholarships for analytics students with financial need.
