Commencement: "Passion flows from purpose and in living your purpose, you live life with passion" Posted on May 15, 2013 in More than 350 degrees were awarded during Walker College's Spring 2013 Commencement, held May 11. Walker College Class of 2013 graduates Saturday Posted on May 10, 2013 in Walker College commencement ceremonies will take place Saturday, May 11, at 4 p.m. in the Holmes Convocation Center. Approximately 350 spring and summer graduates are eligible to walk the stage. RMI major to receive Plemmons Leadership Medallion Posted on May 3, 2013 in James C. Terrell III, a senior risk management and insurance major, is one of three recipients of the W.H. Plemmons Leadership Medallion. Senior awarded Student Entrepreneur of the Year honor Posted on Apr 24, 2013 in Students Wade Montgomery, a senior majoring in commercial recreation and tourism with a minor in entrepreneurship, has received the Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Transportation Insight Center for Entrepreneurship with Walker College.The annual award is presented to an undergraduate from Appalachian who has exhibited exceptionally meritorious entrepreneurial achievement.
