Jade Zonato '26 — Internship insight and global perspectives

A Spring 2026 graduate of the Walker College of Business, Jade Zonato leaves App State with a global mindset shaped by hands‑on experience.

An International Business major with a minor in German, Jade brought a strong cross‑cultural perspective to her Appalachian journey. Born in Brazil and raised in North Carolina, Jade was drawn to App State for its campus environment and opportunities to expand her global outlook through the International Business program.

Jade made the most of experiential learning opportunities at App State, including serving as vice president of the International Business Student Association, and completing a for‑credit domestic international business internship as a Government Affairs Intern with UPL Corporation. In a recent video interview, Jade shared some of the lessons she learned during her internship that helped shape her professional confidence.
