Students from Appalachian State University have achieved success in the 2023 National Shore Sales Challenge, held March 30 - April 1 at Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business in Salisbury, Maryland.

- Marketing Senior Rachel Rabideau
Rachel Rabideau and Ethan Beatty emerged as finalists in their respective categories.
Rabideau scored first place in the first round and was a top 10 finalist out of 72 student competitors in the Role Play Competition.
Beatty was named one of the top 10 finalists in the Speed Selling Event, out of more than 120 students competing.
The team was coached by Dr. Bonnie Guy, App State’s John W. Guffey Jr. Professor of Marketing and director of the university’s Professional Selling Program.
“Barrett Garner '94 provided valuable coaching, insight and guidance to the team,” said Dr. Guy.
Garner is a member of the advisory board for the Professional Selling Program.
