The Walker College implements and supports initiatives, events, research and service related to sustainability, and its Curriculum and Faculty Development Committee have developed discipline-specific definitions of the relevance of sustainability on the college's fields of study.
The Walker College of Business' Office of the Dean has completed Appalachian State University's Green Workplace Certification and has been certified at the highest level, Grandfather Mountain.
