Application Process

  • Complete an application at graduate.appstate.edu/apply-now. Each application requires:
    • Official transcripts from all universities attended (including any other Master’s degrees earned).
    • Three letters of recommendation.
    • A resume.
  • Applications are reviewed by the MSA admissions committee. You will receive an email from the Cratis Williams School of Graduate Studies indicating your admission selection.
  • Admitted students will also receive an email from the MSA program director with information about orientation, as well as scholarship and assistantship opportunities. Students should set up an appointment with the MSA program director to create a program of study and begin the registration process.

Required Prerequisite Courses

Undergraduate prerequisite courses do not have to be completed prior to beginning graduate course work in the MSA program. Read more.
