Business has since boomed, propelling her to be named one of "40 under 40" by Business Street online. Student Research: The value of a horse show One of the longest tenured events in the High Country is the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show. It recently completed its 89th year, attracting riders from all across the country.The three-week event was also the subject of an honors thesis for new Walker College graduate Nicole Jelley '12 ECON, MKT. Strongest growth company in Charlotte run by Walker alumnus Posted on Dec 7, 2012 in The Charlotte Business Journal last week released its Fast 50, which is described as "the region’s fastest-growing privately held companies." Coming out on top is Direct Digital, a nutritional supplement company co-founded by Brandon Adcock '06 MKT.Joined by fellow co-founders Paul Reichelt and John Kim, Adcock has seen his company achieve a 3-year average growth rate of 691 percent, according to CBJ. Walker alumnus named Volunteer of the Year Posted on Jul 17, 2012 in Ben Hamrick '82 DS, ACC is CEO of Johnson Price Sprinkle PA, an accounting firm located in Asheville. He joined the company in 1983, and became a shareholder in 1989, then a managing shareholder in 2006. He was appointed CEO in 2008. He heads up the business consulting and business valuation services section of JPS. He joined the Walker College Business Advisory Council in 2010.
