Appalachian State University's Walker College of Business Honors students presented on special topics during the college's senior honors celebration on November 18.
A panel of judges named Jillian Goldstein, a digital marketing major, the winner of the "Best Honors Poster" award among 17 student posters at the event hosted by the Walker College.
"Jillian's mixed use of technology and professional design highlighted her incredible work, creativity, and academic accomplishments," noted a WCOB Honors Program LinkedIn post.
"This event is intended to establish a new tradition where the Junior Honors class hosts the Senior Honors class, fostering connections and opportunities for learning as students progress through their academic journey," said Dr. Santosh Nandi, who has led the college's honors program since Fall 2025.

More About the WCOB Honors Program
Qualified business students can choose to participate in the university honors program, the Walker College of Business honors program, or both. The business honors program is selective and requires a minimum GPA of 3.4. Participants have an enhanced educational experience, often with smaller classes that enable meaningful learning and help them form long-lasting friendships with fellow honors students. The program also aims to provide opportunities such as engaging with faculty inside and outside the classroom, participating in research, participating in practical learning experiences, favorable internship and employment prospects, and priority access to graduate programs.
