Appalachian State University alumnus Freddie Davis ’84 has earned the 2025 Alvin W. Daughtridge Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA).
The award, presented during the AHFA Logistics Conference held June 16-18 in Asheville, NC, recognizes Davis’ exceptional contributions to the furniture transportation industry and his enduring legacy of leadership and innovation. Davis is founder of Gulfstream Shippers Association and has spent decades shaping the global supply chain landscape.
In the Walker College of Business, Davis served as an advisory board member for App State's Supply Chain Management program from 2011-16 and has been a speaker for the annual Entrepreneurship Summit.
