Bee researchers quotes in N&O, TechWire stories

While bee supporters everywhere celebrated World Bee Day on May 20, 2020,  faculty members at Appalachian State University created a "buzz" with their bee-supporting research.

Triangle-based News & Observer and WRAL TechWire published stories that featured the work of the researchers, whose work helps Appalachian's Center for Analytics Research & Education (CARE) use analytics for social good.

The News & Observer's article is entitled SAS creates tools to help count world's bee population and monitor for murder hornets.

TechWire published From streaming hive data to acoustics, SAS uses machine learning, analytics to boost bee populations.
