Beta Alpha Psi is an international honorary organization for financial information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
Most recently, the Epsilon Kappa Chapter at Appalachian State University has been recognized internationally as a Superior Chapter.
Recognition as a Superior Chapter is a significant accomplishment. Under the leadership of Faculty Advisor and WCOB Accounting Professor, Tracy Reed, the Epsilon Kappa Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership.
As reward for the achievement, Appalachian's Beta Alpha Psi chapter will receive an award check for $275 sponsored by the KPMG Foundation.
