Brantley Risk & Insurance Center recognizes IIANC as founding strategic partner

The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) was recently named a founding strategic partner by Appalachian State University's Brantley Risk & Insurance Center.

The announcement came during the 2015 IIANC InsurExpo in Durham, NC, April 8-9.

Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) students Austin Adams, Katie Pechner, Nick Carson and Kathleen Eakes participated in the expo, where they networked with independent agents and industry representatives and participated in information sessions with industry professionals. Brantley Center Associate Director Greg Langdon accompanied the students and made the announcement.

"The IIANC is very proud of its partnership with the Brantley Risk & Insurance Center and the AppState RMI program, said IIANC Chair Scott Evans. "You can look at the leadership within our association and it doesn't take very long before you see the fingerprint of graduates of this nationally recognized program all over our Board of Directors , our committees, and in every area of leadership within the Big I. We look forward to many more years in partnership with our friends from Appalachian State."
