Business students pitch marketing ideas to employees of New River Light & Power

Walker College of Business marketing students will offer marketing advice to representatives of New River Light and Power (NRL&P) during a case study cometition on the campus of Appalachian State University April 24.

The students, members of Appalachian's chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), will pitch ideas for a new feature of NRL&P's business.

Students will work in groups in the case study competition, thinking up ideas and implementation plans, with submissions presented to representatives vying for bragging rights and the opportunity to earn a networking dinner.

"This is a great opportunity for our members to practice professionalism in a competition setting," said junior marketing major Devon McCarroll, a member of AMA.

The case study will take place in Peacock Hall Room 4014 and is open to the public with no fee to attend.

For more information, visit AMA's Instagram (appstateama) and Facebook (American Marketing Association at App State) sites.
