The Appalachian State University chapter of DECA will host the first annual Drive for Deca on Friday, May 12.
The event will be held at Sugar Mountain Golf Course, and tee time is 8:00 a.m.
Tournament proceeds will support student travel to DECA international competitions.
"Drive for DECA was created in order to give Appalachian students the opportunity to travel across the country and be apart of this life changing experience," said Appalachian DECA President Cierra Harris. "While we hope to fund our competition, our main goal is to ensure participants have a great golfing experience."
