Forbes says App State is a 'leading American university' for study abroad

In a recent news article from Forbes.com, Appalachian State University was named one of the "Leading American Colleges And Universities For Study Abroad."

The rankings are part of an Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange, which collected information on the number of international students studying at U. S. institutions and the number of American students studying abroad in 2024.

App State was ranked in the top 10 of master’s level institutions, with 697 students traveling abroad.
