Walker College of Business staff plan to 'Buy Boone Lunch' on Wednesday April 12

Staff from Appalachian State University's Walker College of Business Graduate Programs Office will Boone Buy Lunch at F.A.R.M. Cafe on Wednesday, April 12.

F.A.R.M. -- or Feed All Regardless of Means -- Cafe is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on King Street in Boone, North Carolina, that connects resources and community members.

Kim Kirby, a staff member in Walker College, said that by hosting the lunch, the Walker College helps support F.A.R.M. Cafe's mission to provide high quality meals to the community.

"This is a wonderful event where our team is able to volunteer for shifts to interact with and serve our local community," said Kirby. "We will also have a welcome table where we will have informational materials about our business graduate programs at App State."
