Holshouser Ethics to present lunch and learn on sustainable business topics Feb. 1

On Friday, February 1, 12:00-2:00 p.m., Holshouser Ethics will present a free lunch and learn event on the campus of Appalachian State University. The event will be held in Peacock Hall, Room 4018.

Visiting scholars from East Carolina and the University of Georgia will present on two separate sustainable business topics:

  • Dr. Alleah Crawford, School of Hospitality Leadership, College of Business, East Carolina University, will present From hotels to food deserts: Recognizing sustainability in human-centered design.
  • Dr. Bynum Boley, Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management Department, University of Georgia, will present Going global or going local? Why Travelers Choose Franchise and Independent Accommodations and the Implications for Sustainability.
