Vanessa LeLiever Murray '98, event marketing consultant for TAKE Success, will serve as the guest speaker during the Walker College's 2016 Yadkin Bank Honors Convocation.
The event is scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Plemmons Student Union on the campus of Appalachian State University.
Ms. Murray is a former advertising account executive, brand manager, financial services representative, and marketing manager who has more than 16 years of combined advertising, account services, strategic marketing, brand development, vendor relations, event planning services and leadership training experience. Ms. Murray earned her undergraduate degree in marketing from the Walker College in 1998. While at Appalachian, Ms. Murray was a Holland Fellow and minored in international business and French.
The Yadkin Bank Honors Convocation is an annual event and reception attended by the college’s highest academically achieving students, their families and members of the business faculty. A 2014 gift from Yadkin Bank to Appalachian State University supports the event.
