Appalachian State University students competed in the National Shore Sales Challenge, March 31 - April 2 at Salisbury University.
Student competitors from universities across the country competed in a role-play and speed-selling competition, and App State came away with a 2nd place overall in the role play competition, with Sam Gagnon beating out all but one of the 75 student competitors.
Gagnon's teammates who also well-represented App State are Peyton Cornett, Faith Dymek and Nicole Tiseo.
Sam Cheatham served as their student coach, and professors Bonnie Guy and James Fyles mentored the students.
