MBA Alumni Highlight: Danielle Martin

Danielle Martin '14 is a Human Resource Specialist as a civilian employee at the Delaware National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, providing employee benefits and other HR services to the Air and Army National Guard state employees.

Born in southeastern Pennsylvania and raised in Delaware, Martin decided to head south to attend Roanoke College to major in Business Administration. She earned her BBA with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Roanoke, and then Martin received her MBA in General Management from Appalachian State University.

Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, Martin held internships and completed a practicum in the field of human resources, which confirmed her desire to use her business degree in a way that allowed her to interact with people.  Martin now interacts with others in her organization on a daily basis, and she has put to use the leadership training the MBA program provided.
