MBA Alumni Highlight: Kacey Griffin

Kacey Griffin ‘15 is a LG Business Development Manager for the IT desktop line at SYNNEX Corporation, an industry leader in distribution, technology solutions, customer engagement services, and business process services. SYNNEX ranks 169 on the Fortune 500.

Kacey, a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, attended Appalachian State University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management and Insurance and her MBA in International Business.

Kacey is passionate about adding value to organizations by analyzing and preventing risks, which she did during her undergraduate studies. Additionally, she became more culturally aware through that pursuit which led to her pursuing her MBA in International Business. Previously, she served as an Underwriter for Canal Insurance, something she is very proud to have been able to do. Currently, Kacey and her team continue to grow business lines for SYNNEX in various markets.

While at Appalachian State, Kacey was involved in the ASU Gospel Choir, an active member of Cornerstone Summit, the Order of Black and Gold, The Risk Management and Insurance Society, Gamma Iota Sigma, Appalachian Popular Programming Society, Black Student Association, and Yosef Club just to name a few.

Kacey currently resides in Greenville, SC where she is a member of Relentless Church and CIC Greenville.
