MBA Alumni Highlight: Samantha Watkins

Samantha Watkins '16 is a Solutions Analyst at Impact Financial Systems, Inc. (IFS), a leading provider of business led automation solutions for the financial services and brokerage industry.

Samantha attended Columbia College of Missouri, where she received her B.A. in Sociology, and Appalachian State University, where she received her MBA in Interdisciplinary Studies.

While completing her graduated studies, Samantha pursued a profession in private wealth management at Ameriprise Financial, which laid the foundation for her career in software development. Her passion for computer information systems developed while studying in the MBA program, where Samantha was immersed in a variety of business analytics courses. Samantha attributes her success as a solutions analyst to the world-class program material and enrichment activities provided by the MBA program.

Samantha currently resides in Mooresville, NC where she is an active member of her community and continues professional development as a member of AITP-Charlotte.
