The Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies held its annual awards ceremony on Appalachian State University's campus on Tuesday, April 2, and a Walker College of Business student was honored.
Outstanding Graduate Student Service Awardee: Layla Koroleva
Layla Koroleva, who is earning is earning a dual Masters degree in Business Administration and Applied Data Analytics, was named the Outstanding Graduate Student Service Awardee.
The Outstanding Graduate Student Service Award recognizes graduate students who have contributed to graduate student life in their departments, off-campus cohorts, or on campus during the current academic year.
Koroleva is an experienced material planner with a passion for data analytics in the supply chain and logistics. She earned her BSBA in Supply Chain Management and Computer Information Systems from App State in 2022. She earned the Walker College's outstanding undergraduate student in Supply Chain Management. As a graduate assistant, Koroleva has conducted research about companies providing blockchain technology services and served as a Graduate School Ambassador for two years, participating in information sessions to boost graduate recruiting. She has also been a volunteer business analyst, director, and consultant in research and analytics at Beans 2 Brew, the Walker College's student-run coffee shop initiative.
The Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies Awards Ceremony is held each year to honor distinguished graduate students and graduate faculty and celebrate the exceptional research, teaching and service they undertake.
