The weather is predictably unpredictable, and -- as Appalachian State University students and faculty can attest -- seemingly more so in Boone, North Carolina, than in other locales. A February morning is captured in this photo by MBA alumnus and Appalachian assistant marketing director Chris Grulke '18. Grulke snapped the picture of Peacock Hall during unseasonably pleasant weather, around 52 degrees at approximately 10:00 a.m. on February 5, 2019. The path to Peacock Hall (and perhaps a pot of gold?) is bordered by Rankin Science Building (left) and Chapell Wilson Hall (right).
