The RMI Career Fair, hosted by the Brantley Risk & Insurance Center will be held October 29 in Peacock Hall.

Sponsored by the BB&T Student Leadership Center in the Walker College of Business, Business Connections helps prepare Appalachian business students for the realities of the business world through a day-long event that includes interview sessions, track-specific workshops around current industry trends and issues, and career-fair-type corporate information tables.

Corner Tailors, which makes custom-tailored suits, was created by Merrick Marquie, entrepreneur-in-residence in the Walker College's Transportation Insight Center for Entrepreneurship.

Marquie was inspired to launch his business when he recognized a need for high quality, well-fitting suits in the Boone community.
