Space named to honor Walker Fellows student organization

A space in Peacock Hall, the business building at Appalachian State University, has been named to honor the work the Walker Fellows student ambassadorial organization provides to the campus community.

The Walker Fellows Room is adjacent to two prominent spaces on the second floor of Peacock Hall - the Broyhill Commons, named in honor of the generous support given by the Broyhill Family, and the Beasley Classroom, named in honor of George Beasley.

Walker College Dean Heather Norris dedicated the space on November 22, 2016 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Walker Fellows President Kyle Harrison helped cut the ribbon, and many student representatives were in attendance.
