Forty-four of the 216 students named to Appalachian State University's athletics department academic honor roll for the 2016 fall semester are business majors.
To be included on the academic honor roll, a student must have a 3.25 or higher semester GPA while enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours. Those earning the honor include student-athletes and student athletic trainers, managers and support staff.

These students will be recognized during half time of the February 13 men's basketball game (tip-off at 7:00 PM). The game is also faculty appreciation night, and faculty members and one guest can attend the game with free admission by showing a valid ASU ID card at the South West Window.
