Students: Drop into Tuesday's 12pm info session for pizza and study abroad inspo

"With snow on the ground, summer can feel far away, but now's the time to plan a summer business study abroad," said Meredith Pipes, the Walker College of Business's global and civic engagement specialist.

Pipes invites all students to the Business Summer Study Abroad Info Session on Tuesday, Jan 28, from 12 to 12:45 p.m. During the session, students will learn about unique destinations, how to round out their professional development, and how to earn credit toward their degree.

You can join the info session in person in Peacock Hall Room 4140 (Holland Room) or by Zoom. Drop-ins are welcome. Pizza will be provided. Trips that will be discussed include:

  • Finland & Estonia: The Future is Now (BUS 4045/MBA 5020), Fri, 05/16/2025 to Mon, 05/26/2025
  • Scotland: Critical Infrastructure & Risk Assessment in Scotland (BUS 4055/MBA 5020), Sat, 05/24/2025 to Sun, 06/01/2025
  • Kyrgyzstan: Business in Kyrgyzstan: Pre- and Post-Soviet Era  (BUS 4045/MBA 5020), Wed, 07/02/2025 to Tue, 07/15/2025

The Walker College of Business encourages students to study abroad and provides a variety of short-term international programs designed to develop international business skills and intercultural knowledge.
