Trustee, Alumnus, Boyles Lecturer Harris honored as CFO of the Year Finalist

Appalachian State University Trustee and Walker College of Business alumnus Jamie Harris ’84, chief financial officer of RXO, has been named a finalist for Charlotte Business Journal's CFO of the Year.

A celebration recognizing local professionals with outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards was held July 20. Read about the honorees on the Charlotte Business Journal's website.

Harris served as App State's 64th Harlan E. Boyles Distinguished Lecturer on April 20, sharing how the sport of baseball helped to shape his business philosophies, as well as what it takes to be a successful leader.
